Hi, so just bought an H2S and I wanted to swap my nozzle and I saw this, is it normal to have this copper like color exposed ? Thanks
I don’t own an H2S, but since this is on the cold side of the nozzle I don’t think it’s an issue.
It could be a heat sink that has a tiny bit of paint missing. Maybe scraped off with the top of the nozzle.
But looking at the disassembly of the tool head I think it’s a plastic piece.
So isn’t it just some debris?
Definitely something, that I wouldn’t worry about.
Well upon closer inspection this morning the front part looks intentional as it as the shape I’ve drawn, perfectly symmetric. The part under looks like some sort of mesh to protect the copper coil (I think it’s a coil, to heat nozzle ?) and this mesh certainly got miss aligned during assembly allowing me to see the copper only on the left. So it’s certainly no biggies indeed. Thanks
