Weird print quality problem

While printing 40 small mechanical components, two of them came out what looks like over extruded. All other are perfect. Anyone got an idea why this happens?

Brand new P2S with AMS Pro. Filament is generic PETG, fresh out of the sealed delivery bag.

My guess is that there was a fingerprint on the plate, and the brim did not adhere well in that spot, which let those two parts wobble a bit. I’m a bit surprised the part to the right printed so well.

I’ve found that drying PETG ‘fresh out of the bag’ typically removes 2–6 grams of moisture. I do not think moisture was the main issue here, because the faults are concentrated in a single spot.

Thanks Ikraus, that is a plausible explanation! I should have checked for the piece being loose before I removed them all.

Guess I should start drying new filament too…
