Is there a way to remove this weird printing artifact with a slicer setting? The material is PETG and happens whenever there is a hole.
The issue you’re seeing is caused by uneven filament flow. The hole forces the printer to start and stop extrusion, and that interruption makes the flow inconsistent. It’s similar to drawing with a squeeze bottle of ketchup: every change in direction or speed requires you to adjust pressure, and any hesitation shows up in the line. The same thing is happening here as the nozzle passes the hole.
- While not the best long-term solution, if you want a quick test, slow your print speed for outer walls and change the wall order from the default inner/outer to outer/inner.
The default speed is 200, but for test purposes try something drastic like dropping it to 50. This will slow your print significantly but will show if speed is a factor.
For a more permanent fix, there is more than one setting that influences this, but the two that have the biggest impact here are:

The second most likely factor is overhang speed. Reducing overhang speed can help stabilize flow around holes.

Changing the speed made it worse. Trying the pressure advance calibration next.
Did a manual flow calibration for the filament using the utility in Bambu Studio. Working great now!
