I just got my Bambu A1 mini a few days ago, and all my prints have had this weird stringing issue. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting like reducing temps, retraction, reducing speed, ect.
I’m using some generic PLA I had lying around (It was just unsealed yesterday so it’s not moist). It’s driving me crazy and I can’t figure out what’s wrong!
Does anyone have any advice?
Print a temp tower for that filament to see what temp you actually need to print it at.
It could also actually be wet in the factory sealed bag, so anther thing to try is dry the filament. I have opened brand new bags and had wet PLA, It usually does travel across the ocean on a ship and you don’t know what the conditions were in the factory when they made it.
Huh. I thought it was dry. I’ll try drying it and them the temp tower tomorrow. I’ll get back with the results.
Weird. It still strings a tiny bit even at low temps. I’ve checked and the filament is dry. I’m stumped. It’s probably fine how little its stringing, but its driving me crazy that it strings no matter what I do.
So after further inspection, It doesn’t seem to have the issues I presented yesterday. I think it may be the print settings. I’m going to mark this as solved.
So I notice it is only really happening around seams. I think its probably fine for now.
