Weird Underextrution-problems

I’ve got these weird underextrution-problems on my A1 but only on this part and also only on the same few layers on the bottom. I’m using a foaming LW-PLA, that means that the flowratio is only 0.5 instead of 1. Normally it works bau on this part it doesn’t.

It also only apears in these heights in which support is created below it. And also the other supports are affected by the underextrution-problems. But the “normal” support don’t causes these problems. It has to be a software bug

Can please anybody help me?

Thinking there may be an incompatibility between that flow ratio and the needs of your supports.

…but why do you even need supports? Put the flat bottom of the part on the bed and you can do away with supports entirely.

Nice Idea, but I have a shaft going through my model

But I hava another idea: I’m trying to print my part upside down, so I have less supports

I’m not sure why having a shaft go through your elevator flap means it has to be perpendicular to the build plate. It’s perfectly reasonable to have non-vertical round holes through a body being printed; provided allowances are made for supports or potential stairstepping tolerances. In this case, you’re near vertical, it really shouldn’t matter.

Now I get your Idea!

You meant that right?

I fought you meant that:

This is actually a really good Idea. Sometimes I have to think more out of the box. I’m trying your Idea right now.
Thank you very much :+1:
