I recently modded my A1 and put the AMS on top. One of my spools fell of the AMS and hit the X-rail.
Now its pushing against the print. Is there anything i can do?
Bed tramming is failing on the right side, as the screw is tightened completely and the nozzle still touches the bed…
As long as it’s just knocked off level you can adjust it yourself, and most likely that’s all it is. If anything is damaged you’ll have to get the parts replaced, but you can still put them on yourself as well.
Start here Z-axis leadscrew kit replacement for instructions on how to disassemble it and line it up. As long as it’s not damaged you won’t need to replace the parts, but the steps are the same either way.
If the tramming works and stops the dragging I’d suggest the first thing you print is a square - then use a professional square to make sure your printed square is really square. If it is you should be all set, but if it’s not you’ll have to get the x-axis more parallel to the top frame. It’s not horribly off from the picture, but it would make me paranoid just the same.
Stopped dragging on the print. They say God gives you smaller battles to prepare you for the big ones… I’ve perfected my tramming skills on the A1 mini .
The bubble is off all over the frame so it might of not hot the x-rail but the bed itself. The offset might be what the printer stands on.
