This part has been printed from the same sliced model for 50+ times without issue. I can’t figure out what is causing it.
The same sliced model printed without issue on other P1P, that ruled out corrupted G code. I also printed only the top part, thinking maybe there is wobbling at the top. But that’s not the case neither.
It doesn’t seem like it’s related to belt tension as the lower part printed fine (I printed it twice, both have the same issue near the top). Any idea what is going on here?
I redid belt tension and calibrated the printer after the initial post, also printed different filament of the same type and sliced it with both Orca and Bambu Studio. The issue persists after all that, so it’s most likely some kind of mechanical issue here. I’ll see what Bambu tech support says about it.
The printer is sitting a damper block on the floor. Something is going on with Z axis, the layers in the trouble areas are wavy in Z instead of being leveled.
In addition to the steps above, I also wiped off the lube buildup at the base of Z lead screws and removed nozzle as BL tech wanted some photo of it. Nothing wrong with the nozzle, so I put it back and everything works fine . Thanks guys.
