I think an RFID reader to read BL filaments will be useful. There are at least two uses: Pick the right type and color from the pool of used rolls without inserting them into AMS first. Most of the time, I don’t label filaments. When I tried to find a certain type and color from a bunch of used spools, I had to make my best guess.
