Just curious what quirky or creative names y’all might have given yours.
I’ll go first
I got an A1 the day after they became available. I named it Mabel. Soon after I added a P1S and called it Ollie. They make quite a pair, Ollie and Mabel. I joke that Mabel really swings while Ollie keeps it all inside. Then I added a couple of X1-Carbons that I named Stanley and Felix. I picked the names from a list that appeared when I googled “old timey names”
Mine’s called Ponder Stibbons, after Unseen University’s Head of Inadvisably Applied Magic. ![]()

I named my P1 “The Sole Survivor” because it outlasted all my printers before.
A1 mini is named “Lil Boy” because I am a little immature.

Because when my 12yo first saw the print head’s cover, she exclaimed “Dad! It’s GlaDOS from Portal!”
It stuck.
(If I still had my 2018-vintage Monoprice printer, i’d name it Wheatley to match its competency level compared to GlaDOS.)
