What do you want for the AMS 3 Pro?

The HT lid latch works because the HT lid is narrow and much stiffer than the AMS 2 lid - so force from the gasket pushing against the lid doesn’t cause the door lid to flex.

Trying to do this with a single one of these latches on an AMS 2 lid isn’t going to work - the lid is much more flexible because of it’s size and shape, the result will be the lid flexing and not sealing. Using two would be an improvement, but rarely do designers ever use two of this style of latch on a single door, it’s going to potentially drive more broken doors from people popping one latch and trying to open the lid with that alone, IMO

I’d much rather see a magnetic gasket get used, just like on a fridge or freezer door.
