So I recently bought a bunch of filament, and back then, the translucent spool was pretty common, but this year, when I purchased 20 spools, none were translucent. (prefer the translucent one more). What happened to them, and if there’s still a way to get it? I’m trying to get another one so I can get 10 spools. (also not using ebay cause their shipping system isnt the most reliable)
Bambu switched to the white. Whatever reason that was I’m sure was economic.
You’ll have to find a 3rd party who is selling knock offs, or find someone who has some and will sell/send you one.

Print some with “transparent” filament?
Probably relates to manufacturing cost, or durability. Transparent hard plastics are less durable (consider why there are so few transparent open source 3d printer cases; an open source machine designed for tinkering is one place where you absolutely want a transparent case).
You might be able to buy a spool on a site like eBay or Taobao.
Polycarbonate is one of the most durable thermoplastics we have, but it is a lot more expensive than say, ABS. Not sure what Bambu made their translucent spools from before, but I’m pretty sure if it was polycarb, moving away from it was a cost savings measure. PC-ABS has some of the durability of PC, but the cost savings of ABS.
