What formula does Bambu use for flow rate calibration?

So the typical formula I’m used to when performing flow rate calibrations is

Flow rate(100+modifier)/100.

When doing flow rate calibrations in studio utilizing the calibration tab on my H2D, the resulting flow rate is higher than what this formula provides.

For example, my starting flow rate value is 1.045. -5 was the best test piece so I picked that one in studios drop down menu and it provided a calculated final flow rate of 0.9928. Using the formula I posted above I was expecting the final flow rate to come out to 0.988.

It’s not much of a difference, but it’s still a difference.

Is Bambu using a different formula to get to their resulting flow rate?

Did you do your math using 1.04 instead of 1.045?

A -5 stands for a 5% reduction of flow rate.
So 1.045 * 0.95 = 0.99275. Rounded to 4 decimals: 0.9928.
It’s the same as your proposed formula:

1.045*(100-5)/100 = 0.99275

You did the calculations wrong. Your formula is OK.

Ahhh, I’m a dummy! You guys are right. Something so simple flew right over my head.
