Hey guys, i have a new x1c, did a couple of prints which turned out great but today i tried this benchy and there is an issue with the overhangs, any idea what is causing this with the overhangs
That’s an odd looking benchy… very not boat like. 
What you are seeing is one of the downfalls of FDM printing. You can’t print on air without bridging between two already printed sections that are inline (bridging). Unsupported sections like you’re seeing will droop.

Benchy is what ever you use as a benchmark
In 3d printing it generally refers to a very specific model.
