Wow! I’m really glad I spent the extra quarter kilogram of PETG to re-run the print with the arachnia setting, because OMG it was totally worth it. That single change in the settings made a huge difference!

Even from here, you can already see a vast improvement. Most of the stringing eliminated, and the corner noticeably better.
Right hand corner close-ups:
Still a bit crusty, especially depending on the light angle, but nowhere near as bad as it was before.
The hinge:
The hinge looks completely cleared up.
I think I’ll start another thread to see what can be done about seams, especially with respect to PETG, but with these improvements I’m ready to be a believe in PETG on the X1C again, even with a 0.6mm nozzle.
