When printing by object and the objects are spaced properly, I get this strange purple shading indicating something that I can’t determine?
It says collisions will occur but I don’t understand why. Also that lower purple line is there regardless of how many objects. Any help?
Your model is to tall. The shaded area is where the print head would be to collide with the model. I hope I explained that so it makes sense.
This is a complicated situation because different printer series have different values for the height and clearances.
As already said, the issue is to stop the print head from potentially hitting the other already printed models when the head moves from one to the next.
The A series has the least height available, partially due to the printer moving the y-axis back and forth, and the x-axis bar being a significant obstacle.
The core x/y printers (the rest of them) have larger clearances, as the bed can be moved out of the way. This does not make the entire build height available.
The line you speak of indicates the safe area. Although this is not itself hard and fast, as two larger models, one behind the other, can often be allowed.

Important Tip 1
Use the key combination SHIFT + A to auto-arrange the layout. Unless you know exactly what you are doing, the automatic layout is the fastest way to have something work.
Important Tip 2
If you are creating profiles to upload with your model, ANY with Print Sequence = By Object (PSBO) will be locked to their own range of printers.
Uploading a PSBO profile for the A1 mini will then not automatically be available for those with a P series or any other range.
You will need to carefully create multiple profiles for each range and confirm they have been accepted during the completed upload process.
While the upload screen asks if you wish to have compatibility with other ranges, this will not be honoured.
