That’s what support says. From past experience and listening to others on the forum, I’d say it’ll depend also on your environment. Anyone running in a cool 20C AC room is going to have a different experience than someone in a sweltering 30C shed. We’ve had people manage to hit 60C chamber temps on their X1C with just the bed - I can barely get past 45C. Best guess is, most american YTers are going to be in a very comfortable AC’d filming room. Keep that in mind.
edit: I’ve also noticed that those YTers that were testing the machine in their off time (they do other things than product reviews), didn’t complain about adhesion issues like those that were keeping the door open for product filming purposes. Granted, this is a touchy bed, on order of a CR-10. That small 70mm difference does make a difference. And profiles WILL BE tuned to the expected use case of doors (mostly) closed.
