What's up with this crazy removal process? You can't flex it?

You do know that if you just let the plate cool, the 3d print just slides off?

Are you sure? Even Bambu says if it is sticking too well to get it off with the scraper, heat the plate to HIGHER than the print temperature to get it off.

If all else fails.

Yup, letting it cool always works for me, I don’t use glue or anything else, just let cool, it comes off. If you lift the plate while hot, sometimes it will come off if the plate jumps up when you flex it, but I don’t like to do that, could break something.

BTW, scraping it could damage the surface of the plate, depending on what you scrape it with, a sledge hammer although funny, will definately damage the plate!

How long have you had it? It was only released 2 days ago.

I concur with @MalcTheOracle. And if that does not work:

Whoops! You are correct, I was thinking a regular Textured PEI plate, I take it all back. I have heard others having problems removing print when scraping, using alcohol, even Acetone. I didn’t see that this was some kind of a new sticky plate that I was not familiar with.

Pff, y’all with your hammers. I just throw my plate on the ground and it’ll pop everything off.

You think I’m joking, but I’m not entirely joking. Throwing the plate on the ground just right can be very effective.

Not sure if that’d work with the new plates though; UPS is still hoarding mine.

How’d you get Bambu to give it to UPS? My order from 9am Eastern on Tuesday still just says “unfulfilled” and hasn’t even been given a tracking number yet.

I don’t think there’s any rhyme or reason to the Bambu logistics department. My order was placed at 08:15am on Tuesday. I got an email around noon saying it shipped and it’s supposed to arrive tomorrow.

Mines supposed to be here Monday, ups has it

I was extra special. One spool was handed off to UPS while 7 others and the rest of my order went FedEx.

Apparently I’m extra special too - only in the opposite direction. Just got off chat where they were kind enough to inform me that they don’t have the slightest clue when they’re even going to bother to ship my order.

I’m still annoyed mine was taken from my basket as o went to order.

This may look as selfpromotion, but this “scraper” has save me multiple times from damage the part or the plate. You just have to make a little separation between the part and the plate with a conventional scraper and then use this:

Just try it, it prints very fast and you can use dental silk to try.

well at least that means it shipped… my order was broken into three shipments, all through DHL, 2 of them are on route, and 1 - the one with the new plate - is still not in DHL possession, only “electronically transmitted”, which basically means that bambu created a shipping label only, and hasn’t sent it… now i’m thinking they took more orders than what they had inventory for, and i’ll be waiting a long time for this one…

Nah, in my experience, in EU, BL always has done the paperwork fast but real shipping is delayed.
My order has been broken in to two shipments and only one (with a Textured PEI plate) is really shipped. The other one with some spools and the new plate is shitting with them.

Similar here. Ordered on Tuesday, got a notification a few hours later that the order has been shipped with tracking numbers, but hasn’t been updated since then.

It shouldn’t take that long to ship the package 500km, so I guess they did not hand it over to them, even though they said so.

Kinda hoping that it will be there tomorrow, but based on this thread I am losing that hope.
