Where is transparency command in Bambu Lab Studio?

I have a hole for a small magnet in an object that also requires supports elsewhere. The supports unfortunately are also appearing in the hole which are not needed because I am pausing the print to insert the magnet, then resuming the print. The supports prevent me from inserting the magnet.

I am having trouble seeing the object transparent so I can place the Support Blocker accurately in the hole where supports are not needed.

Could somebody PLEASE tell me how I can make the object transparent to position the Support Blocker ? I cannot find any simple keystroke or command like what’s available in Tiinkercad.

I cannot seem to move the Support Blocker disc or cylinder to the correct location when I am in the Preview Slicer It obviously allows me to see the hole I need to put the little magnet in but I can’t move the Support Blocker into it when in the Preview Slicer mode.

Any help would be much appreciated !

I think you may be confusing workflows that are common with CAD, Cura Slicer and Prusa Slicer that do allow for transparency of objects. To my knowledge, that feature has never been available in Bambu Slicer or Orca.

Now if I misunderstood you and you’re referring to the paint support tool. There is an option to cut away the portion of the model which would reveal the inner structure. The use-case is when one wants to place or block a support in a place that is not visible from outside the model.
Paint support

A check mark at Support→ Support→ On build plate only has worked for my models. No need to paint blockers.

I am not exactly sure what you are describing, but in case this helps, here you go.

Ghosting models is the default in preview, thus can make looking for issues harder, it can be turned off.

  • Settings
  • 3D
  • uncheck “Always show shells in preview”
  • Restart the software.
