The H2S firmware release history page lists a new v01.01.02.00 firmware.
But it’s not listed on the firmware download page. So… Bambu, where’s the link please?

But not posted yet on the download page. You will just have to give it time. Keep in mind that the Chinese New Year is Feb 17th and that may or may not impact things also.
The new firmware isn’t right for my H2S—the movements are way too fast, and that’s breaking it. I’m sticking with 01.01.00.00. How could they possibly release firmware like this? 01.02.00.00
how is the firmware breaking it? Been running the beta and have not encountered anything breaking anything.
I can confirm. The movements have not been changed since the beta. They are too fast, violent and loud. This was a concern that i, and many others, stated during the beta. They (Bambulab) did not listen or paid attention to the feedback at all, regarding those movements. This was a extremely silent, and yet fast, machine already.
As someone once said to me: “A wise man once said: don’t touch what is already perfect”.
The option now is downgrade and lose all the Laser updates and small refinements or stick with the firmware as it is and agree with the faster wear of the belts and other components (more profit for Bambu i guess).
It’s almost as if Bambulab does not read what is being written here and ignore all the feedback. Oh wait, that is what’s been happening since i remember.
P.S.: I am sure that some users will come any minute now and say that this is 100% harmless and that on the long run it does not wear the machine any faster. You won’t hear it from official sources, but from “professional” users.

What is the definition of too fast?
I am sure that the printer is running within the specified speed and acceleration limits.
Not all the feedback of the testers needs to be followed. That would cause a lot of conflicts because a lot of other users have been complaining about the long startup process.
If you paid good attention, you might have noticed that the number of times that the tool head triggers the filament cutter arm is less. At least that is the case in the H2D. On that machine the speed and acceleration of startup moves have increased, and afaik nobody complained about it.
The startup sequence wasn’t perfect.
Has someone logged an issue about it. And I am sure the speed change was by design.
There have been multiple reports about the probing issue. And they fixed it because it was an issue.
Yes, I am one of those users.
Seems that you haven’t seen the printer run at maximum speed and acceleration.
If so, you wouldn’t complain about the speed at startup, but more the speed during printing. The startup motions are negligible in relation to the motions during printing.
Eventually you can always set your printer to silent (turtle) mode to prevent the fast motions.
All the “pros” are coming after the smell of this topic. I can already see it 
I will leave this as it is because, as always, Bambu has employees that are forum users and know more than everyone else and even speak for Bambu.

Is it just a feeling, or is it based on quantifiable facts/measurements?
Funnily enough, besides the question if the new firmware is useable or not, there is STILL NO ■■■■■■■ DOWNLOAD LINK for 01.02.00.00.
Which also makes me question why people chose my thread about 01.01.02.00 to post about it…
Hoping that 01.02.00.00 drops soon. Would be nice to have some of the features like printing while drying.
With the BS that happened with the H2D upgrade and them locking out E3D nozzles? I would hate to guess at what they might have done to eff-up the H2S on this round. I’ll wait till everyone else stops screaming about bugs before I update my H2S

Yeah sometimes it doesn’t pay to install a new FW too quickly after it’s released. At least BL has people do quite a bit of beta testing beforehand.
shut the printer off and turn it back on, that’s when the update link appears.
My printer is offline in LAN mode. I am waiting for BL to upload the FW in the Support section on their website so I can grab from there.
