My current table with the X1C is 1041mm width x 610mm depth (41"x24"). The H2C is 492mm width, 514mm depth, and 626mm height.
Why does Bambu recommend having 700x700x1100mm to fit the H2C?
What makes it so that it will need 200mm clearance with width and depth?

For fitting the TPU Feed assist on the left and the AMS switch on the back?. Also to give clearance for the radius of the PTFE tubes which will need room on the left and on the back. Height is for the AMS.
Another thing to remember is that the printer has an option to run an external spool which will take up a good chunk of space on the side as you need a spool with plus another spool width to removed it from the holder. The rear needs space for the spool option, a place for the poop to go and for fans to exhaust.
And also for safety. The printer vibrates a lot, and if you have it on a table of the exact size, there is a big fall risk.
Yeah, my H2C likes to dance when it is really printing fast!
It was a little concerning at first. I thought the AMS might work its way off the top, but it hasn’t been an issue.
Any small prints I set on top will work their way off and fall often though.
Not sure what we are talking about here, I don’t think I have seen where BBL recommends a table size ?
My H2C is on a 24” deep counter top, it has about 5” clearance in the back, it works fine but I definitely wish I had more room.
One thing to remember, this printer is heavy, I cant move it around like I do my P1S,because of its weight and the big soft rubber feet ,for me it is very hard to slide it around if I need to work on something.
Just a word of warning to anyone. Don’t lean build plates against the outside of the printer as they will rub and create a mark on the outside. Ask me how I know.
I learned the same thing the same way…
or don’t lean anything on it after calibration. It can change the vibration property.
Mmmmm at least you werent me that i set the buildplate juuuust a tiny tad skewd on my neptune4.. Lets just say these things work as saws too apparently

Rusty35, Bambu did not suggest a table size, but they do have a recommendation for space for the printer: Bambu Lab H2C | Bambu Lab US Store in the “H2C Specs” section.
With the current setup I have, and with the depth (I assume the depth of the printer is the 514mm measurement) of ~20.25”, I would then have 3.75” + 1”-1.5” behind the desk.
It seems that the width and height of the table are fine; it is just the depth that is worrisome.
I guess the only other issue I would have with this desk is that it is a standing desk (quite helpful when I need to get into the top of the printer), but it only holds up to 165 pounds.
I do have Desk No. 2, which is 30” depth and 83” width and can hold up to 350 pounds, but that desk is currently being used as a staging and assembly area for my architectural models.
Would you say that unless I can use Desk No. 2, that maybe the H2 series printers might be ill-advised?
It will work on a 24” surface. If I remember correctly the printer weighs 75lbs. not including stuff like AMS and such.
If you can grab the desk and slide it away from the wall when you need to access it I wouldn’t worry about it. Mine are on a built in counter top, think kitchen base cabinets. Oh and I have stuff right beside my printer, actually had to go move build plates after JonRaymond posted about it :)
@Rusty35 Thank you for responding again. As for the weight, I just looked it up, but I am not sure how the gross weight can be accurate: Net weight: 32.5 kg (~72 pounds); Gross Weight: H2C AMS Combo 44.7 kg (~98.5 pounds).
I am not exactly sure in this context what the difference is between net and gross weight, but it is just difficult to believe that adding the AMS Combo could increase the weight by anything close to 12.2 kg (~27 pounds). Even if adding 4 spools of 1 kg-per-roll filament, which is 8.8 pounds.

I think those numbers are pretty close, I am short and lifting that loaded AMS of the top of the H2C is chore for my old shoulders.
Gross weight includes packaging, accessories, etc. Calling it shipped weight is probably more clear.
This is right, I remember now thinking I had a 100lb box on the front porch I needed to get in the house.
