Am I doing something wrong or is it just a bug on the MakerWorld site?
I have a rating greater than 4 I already have 410 downloads and 176 prints and I have not received any points from print profiles. I got points from downloading and uploading 5 models.
Points are normally added to my print profiles up to print profiles. It is a profile with a rating of more than 4 and according to this it should give me points for example for 10 downloads but even though I already have 3 print profiles on 3 of my models it hasn’t given me anything from print profiles.
Could it be because it’s a print profile for a prusa printer?
It is totally because it is a Prusa printer. I started here when I had a Prusa but didn’t have a Bambu printer, and ran into this as well – various promised points and such just never happen if you upload Prusa profiles. It is short-sighted on Bambu’s part, honestly. Making Prusa users feel like second-class users here isn’t going to give them a warm and fuzzy feeling about purchasing from Bambu eventually.
I do have an A1Mini now but I definitely think less of Bambu over this whole thing. Printables is way friendlier to non-Prusa users than Makerworld is to non-Bambu users. I earned a bunch of filament from Printables when I just had an Ender 3 Pro.
Yep, It’s because they are not bbl printers profiles. I had the same issue as you. I bet it’s the same thing for the rating points.
You’re even luck to have successful prints on your print profile. Because that means they were printed on a bbl printer. So users opened your 3mf on BambuStudio and changed the printer preset to a bbl printer.
So if I was you I’ll update this print profile for a A1 Mini and see if you receive your points
