Why did you buy a Bambu Lab printer

I bought it after reading several reviews as i wanted to get a multicolour printer. I currently have a Flashforge Creator 3 Pro which is huge and the X1C would be a nice addition to it.

BUT not good upon receiving it yesterday and trying to calibrate it i noticed that the rear Z axis thread is not even in the bearing and moving around freely.

Still waiting for a response to see if they will send me a replacement printer as i am not taking this one apart to repair it.

For years, I had a Mk 3 clone that just worked. I had it dialled in and printed on a 200x200 glass mirror tile, with no glue or additives to the bed; it just worked. However, I grew tired of the ringing that seems inevitable with older bed slingers. I even tried reinforced belts, which helped a bit, but not much. I eventually got an Anycubic M3 Max resin printer that I still have but it’s in the garage because of the fumes and smell and it is currently too cold to use it so I bit the bullet, gave the old printer to a friend to get his feet wet in 3D printing and bought the X1C combo. So far, so good.
I decided to go Bambu because of all the positive reviews I have seen on YT, and having makerworl as part of Bambu Studio means my 4yo grandson can pick a print and go (With ministerial approval from Mum, of course)
Asm me again in 12 minths
