What’s this part called?
Why does it keep popping off?
My setup looks like this
Thoughts?
It appears that you are not giving the PTFE tubes and the power cable to the printer head enought freedom and flexability to move during the print process. Also, if the PTFE tube holder has detached several time already, the tiny tab holding it in place might be weakened so it isn’t holding as good as it should. If it was me, I would replace it.Picture is of my set up. On top of the print head, i placed a bracket to help reinforce the tubes and keep them from bending to much, Next I clipped the power so it doesn’t slip behind the cross brace when printing really tall objects, but not to far to the right so it can’t stretch all the way to the left when needed. Next i have a placed a movable (vertical and horizontal) PTFE tube (only) support bracket on the top rail, next I put tube guides on the AMS so as not to let the tubes bend to the left to much. and cause stress on the the tubes where they enter the AMS. All of there modifications were my solutions to problems that happened during the first few months after getting my printer.
