Is it to stop Laser light escaping?
Is it to stop ambient light interfering with the Lidar?
Is it just to look cool?
I just see people putting light strips and such inside so they can see whats going on better.
I’d like to myself, but not sure if it screws stuff up. the built in light bar doesn’t shut down during a scan, so it can’t be that sensetive.
i have a hue lightstrip directly above the printer (AMS stands beside, not on top) and have 0 issues with the lidar
and for the fail print detection its even better,
had the lightstrip off one day and a honeycomp structure triggered the detection with only the dim lit led bar,
with the lightstrip its not triggering that false alarm
I thought I read somewhere (or maybe a video) of someone setting up led strips inside the printer that would only turn on after the lidar function was complete. Does this seem possible? It seems that would be triggered by the g-codes, or don’t I have a clue?
