Why is print time so much different from profile on makerworld?

I downloaded a 3mf with a displayed print time of 3.6 hours. This profile was made specifically to print in PLA. So I used that profile. I changed my printer (side note: why does BS always change the printer when it loads a 3mf, even if you select your printer on makerworld?), hit “preview”, and the print time is around 7.5 hours. Why is that?

For some context, the printer that came up when I open the 3mf is P1S, and I use an X1C. But the print settings are all the same. So what’s going on that I’m missing?

Guessing that they were using edited settings and maybe when you switched you didn’t keep those?

The printer selected on Makerworld is only used when you print via Handy. MW modifies and slices the file to match your printer before sending the g-code direct to your printer.

If you download the 3mf and open it on your computer, you see the unmodified settings used by the project creator, including their printer choice.
