Why is the TPU gasket printed directly under the adapter here?

Bambu has an official H2D smoke ventilation pipe quick-release assembly model up on MakerWorld.

The circular gasket is printed separately, but the square gasket is printed in place beneath the adapater, which is PETG.

My understanding is that PETG and TPU are finicky to bond together; is there a particular reason I’m missing to print things like this, or is it possible to print the TPU gaskets on their own plate?

You can print the TPU gasket on a separate plate. They may have placed them together because you need both regardless of the type of outlet you use.

Thanks for the quick response! I went through the slicer and gcode (though I’m a total novice) and couldn’t spot anything special, but I was still a bit paranoid given the nature of the part
