Why is this one happening?

PLA 210C nozzle, 65 C textured pei bed
All calibrations done

Hello, try making the temperature for the nozzle 220 degrees. Also make sure to clean the plate well from dirt and fingerprints.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I cleaned the plate while waiting for responses with iso alcohol and it fixed it for me without any temp adjustments.
Great feedback tho, thanks.

I am very glad that your problem is solved, my friend. I wish you trouble-free prints. I also use textured PEI Plate and wash it with dishwashing detergent under warm water after each print.

You usually don’t need to use isopropyl alcohol. The recommendation is plain dish soap and warm water.

Depending on what you are cleaning off, if you don’t flood the plate with alcohol to wash contaminated alcohol off, you can end up redepositing some of the contamination back onto the plate.

Dish soap is a lot cheaper than good clean isopropyl.

One day you will probably find that you have the same issues even though you used IPA, when that happens, use soap and water. Or even better, just skip IPA and use soap and water.

IPA often just smears the oils around the plate because the IPA dries too quickly. This thins the oil and can temporarily resolve issues, but eventually when enough oil builds up on the plate you will have adhesion problems.

Many people come here complaining about adhesion issues even though they used IPA. When several of us tell them to use soap and water instead, their problem is fixed.

I found the textured plate to be extremely good for adhesion except when there is grease or oil from fingerprints which causes the filament to not stick in the area of contamination - as others have mentioned warm soapy water will usually clean the plate well - I then use IPA to wipe down and speed up drying
