Whhhhhhhyyyyy
Because why would you turn it on manually for each print if it can be automatically in the settings?
Is this a serious question?
In the summer I frequently need to turn up the exhaust mid-way through the print or adjust the aux on large prints, or if the chamber temp is getting too low I’ll turn the exhaust off for a few minutes. I’m not baby-sitting my printer sitting next to it each print… More to the point, we had the function for years, why take it away?
Mind if I as what function are you talking about?
Could it be that most users don’t manually adjust the fans mid-printing? If a feature gets little use, then it would make sense that it won’t be front and center anymore on the user interface.
Or BL has found that overall, users manually adjusting fans mid-printing actually caused more problems?
It’s not that it’s not front and center it’s that the feature was removed, the button is still there, they just removed the feature, the button does nothing now
If it was causing more print failures, move the feature, don’t just remove it but leave the button there to taunt users, it’s bad UI design
