It depends on what you want out of this.
If it is to share the models you have created because you enjoy creating, then that is your reason.
Any points you earn would be a bonus.
If you are doing to create anew income stream, you are better trying to sell the models you make. You can do this directly (your own website) or a third-party site like (the dreaded) Etsy.
You can even have a fulfilment company handle the whole print to consumer pipeline for you. In America there is a company called Slant, you can research for a suitable one for your needs.
The points will always go down. Wen I started uploading, my initial models were not popular and a few months later a big drop occurred. It was after this that one of my models really took of and a few others did well.
I would have loved the points I would have earned before the drop. Several drops have occurred since. I still learn points, but it is far harder and today was particularly bad. I have well over 800 models now and still the rewards are few and far between compared to before.
At the start of the year a big drop occurred and continues to cause pain. Several others since, the dumb debacle of the Boosts notification failures still has not been resolved.
I return you to my first point.
You need to decide if you are aiming for an income stream or for the love of sharing.
I wish you luck.
