Will there ever be an H2S to H2D upgrade kit

Does anyone have any information on whether Bambu will release an H2S upgrade kit? Do you think it would even be feasible?

Sure, the remnants of an H2D to H2C upgrade, should be usable for that.

The only thing that you need to verify is, if Bambulab is willing to re-activate the AP board of the H2D.

I doubt if there will come a commercial version of such an upgrade kit since the H2D already existed when the H2S was released.

I asked support and they said NO.

I did not pursue further but when the H2D to H2C kit becomes widely available and enough people push in that direction, I hope BL will revise its position.

If you don’t want to bind to printer to bambu account, meaning using it in LAN Only Mode, this could be done

I would have expected that. If customers want an H2D, they should buy an H2D.

And why go H2S to H2D, better to directly go to H2C

Or sell the H2S and then buy the H2D, which would make more sense in my opinion.

Converting an H2S to an H2D is uneconomical in my view, and even more so for Bambu to release an upgrade kit for it.

I can hardly imagine there would be many interested buyers.
