Will this spool cause issues on the AMS?

Since most colors are only in stock in refill I ordered only refills without having enough reusable spools. Hence I designed my own spool where I also put in some features that are impossible to injection mold and were missing from available printable spools.

The main one being the “filament end holder” being inside the wall of the spool, making spools stackable on top of each other or neatly side by side without protruding filament that can break (and unspool and knot the filament).

Now I designed this spool for the AMS lite and I don’t own a big boy AMS, but would this deformation of the wall cause an issue with the AMS? I would like to know because I might share the spool design.

I am asking because apparently there are some issues with the ‘new’ Prusament spools, which are solved by the design below. Although I don’t understand what the issues might be. Therefore my question if that applies to my spool as well, thanks in advance!

As long as the perimeter is round, should be ok in the AMS.

Thanks! Still insecure though due to that Prusament AMS fixer since that perimeter is also round but just thin at certain points (just like mine)

Anyway, I put the spool online, so hopefully somebody can confirm in the near future it works on the AMS as well :slightly_smiling_face:
