Hi, does anyone have a good working preset for a H2S with Bambu Basic PLA for the model and Bambu Basic PETG for the support interface?
I am using a 0.4 nozzle on my H2S with AMS.
thank you very much!

As soon as you switch your support interface to PETG, Bambu Studio should automatically set the correct Z-offset and interface spacing settings.
If always set the bottom Z-offset to zero also.
However, you need to be careful not to contaminate the PLA print with PETG residue, so high purge volumes are advised on a single nozzle machine.
Not doing so results in poor layer adhesion.
There is a nice wiki on this topic.
Thank you so much, I will take a look at it!
If the PETG starts poorly after switching, increase purge substantially. Material contamination can hurt adhesion.

I am using an A1 with an AMS lite and am attempting to use PLA as a support interface for a PETG print (both bambu filaments). I haven’t changed any slicer settings other than changing from a 0.2 to 0 mm Top Z Distance from the interface, and setting the interface material to PLA, everything else is left as-is. When the print is finished, the supports come off beautifully as expected but on the layers where the support interface is, the print itself practically falls apart as if there was no lay…
Hi everyone,
I finally received my H2D, and I could use some help configuring support settings.
I have PLA loaded on the left extruder and PETG on the right. What I want to do is have the supports printed mostly in PETG, but with the last interface layer (the one in contact with the model) printed in PLA. Additionally, I want the support-to-model gap to be 0.
Could anyone please explain how to set this up correctly in the slicer?
Hello all,
because the PLA Support Filament in the Bambu Store is almost always sold out there is also another possibility.
You can also use PETG for PLA and just PLA for PETG. PETG and PLA are printed at similar temperatures, but they can’t combine and so they are very good as a release material.
This wisdom is not from me, but from the Youtube channel of Manbo. In this video it is explained again and shown the settings that should be made. Here is shown “only” PETG as suppoort for PLA. The …
