did you replace the Belt?
cause that looks like its not put into place correctly in my Opinion

so taking a look at the replacement guide for the X-Rail of the A1 i see the following parts where the belt goes over:
the first one i see is the bearing where the Purge wiper top cover is
and the second one is by the Motor which is covered by the Housing on the right side
those are the only 2 parts the Belt go around cause after that you connect them back to the Toolhead housing on the left and right
its on any of these 4 points where something may have gone wrong
i would look at these 4 spots again to make sure the belt has been looped correctly where they should be

Thanks again Christian have done installation as per instructions had my Brainac Engineer son have a look hoping he would find a fault & enjoy telling me how dumb I am .Have another belt will fit that & see what happens.

I dont have an A1 so not much help, is the new belt the same length as the old belt ? If it is the same length then you have missed a pulley or somthing.
