I was printing a model from the online library. At a height of 86 mm, something clicked and printing continued with a 3-4 mm shift to the left.When printing the same model again, the same height is clicked and the print is shifted. This did not happen on models printed earlier. I moved the head manually using the Control Panel along all axes, and I didn’t find any extraneous sounds. Printer A1 nozzle 0.4, PLA
From how you are describing it, really seems like a problem with that model since this thing doesn’t happen when you print something else. Did you find something strange while slicing on bambu studio? You can check that exact layer 84 and visually see if something is wrong. Also try to retensioning your x-axis belt.
After the first crash, I performed the x-axis belt tightening and calibration procedure. After the second crash, I successfully printed out a tower with a height of 100 mm. I used a 0.16mm slicer. I didn’t notice anything abnormal in the failed layer. But this knocking before the crash is disturbing.
Some pictures of the result and perhaps a screenshot from the slicer at around the model’s layer it happened would be helpful.
Could the click be the nozzle hitting the print?

It is possible because the part is hollow and the click is loud enough.
Have you checked “avoid crossing walls’” in the slicer? Set the value to something like 200mm.

That is interesting. You could look at the slicing results on the one with a defect at the height the issue occurs. Watch the print head path for anything strange.
I looked at the layers in the area of the defect and did not notice any abnormal behavior of the printhead. With the settings you specified earlier, it was possible to print to the end. Thank you all for your help.
