I have an X1C, and I just bought my niece an a1 mini. I use orca, and have a variety of custom filaments and print profiles defined.
Can I share these and expect them to perform the same on her a1 mini? They have different extruders, different motion systems, etc… can anyone share their experience with this?
yeah you just have to change the speed and acceleration values.
because its a cantilever design.

Ive honestly not had this problem because ive only ever had cantelevers
i just know because core-xy is just faster then the a1 mini design.
maybe multiply them by about 3/4
Teach your niece to perform her own calibrations using her printer so she can create her own profiles.
