Hello,
Performing my first 2 color print from the AMS. I imported my stl into the slicer. I painted it out to be the colors I wanted. It will be 2 colors, Orange being 98% of it and white being about 2%. The white portion is one which is only a couple of layers thick in the slicer and only .01 inches in fusion so not much at all. I flipped the project so the white portion would be closest to the bottom.
When get out of painting mode, it shows the waste block for the white and orange being very large in height and being the entire height of the project.
I’m not sure why it is making such huge waste blocks.
Please see images. In my mind, it would have a waste block for the white and orange only up to very close to the bottom when it is orange, transitions to white and orange and then all back to orange.
I must have a button clicked wrong or my process it not correct?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Shawn
That just shows in the model before you slice. Once you slice that tower will only be a few layers tall and not nearly that wasteful.
