X1C- Extruder Motor Issue?

Weird one here, so I am experiencing the clicking extruder gear issue. I am 90% certain it isn’t the extruder gear assembly either (I replaced it with a known good one). Additionally the gear starts clicking before the filament even has a chance to reach the hotend during the load cycle for a new roll. This was an intermittent issue that has become increasingly common and now is basically constant at this point. Put in a trouble ticket with Bambu but at this point I’m not sure there is anything more I can try or do.

What is interesting to me is that if i manually push the gear abit (power off) on the printer it will occasionally recover for another print or so but eventually it either starts printing air (not extruding filament) or just simply jams with a ball/ torn filament just above the gears in the extruder assembly.

I feel I should add I am using aftermarket parts (biqu panda revo hotend) though I have verified with a thermal camera that the hotend is heating to the right temperature. I suppose i could swap it back to stock just for fun but it wouldn’t address the issue where the printer clicks even before the filment can even reach the hotend.

Not sure if there is anything more I can do, any wisdom would be appreciated.

If I had to guess, one of the motor windings is failing, or that winding’s drive circuit… You could try to reseat the motor’s connector, but I wouldn’t hold my breath it’ll make a difference.
