X1C Firmware 01.11.00.00 Bug - nozzle warning

Has anybody experiencing the issue created a ticket yet? i doubt that they will get aware from the posts here.

Yes happening to me, i have to reslice the file and replace the file on the sd card and then it works - what a bummer!

Here are the steps I had to do on the printer to get it to go away and actually work. After the update, the nozzle showed “Undefined”. Had to go in and set it. Once I set it on the printer, the slicer error went away. Hope this helps.

1: Go to Printers Home Screen on the Touchscreen itself.
2: Tap Settings Icon
3: Tap the Pencil under “Nozzle Type” (It may say Undefined or something along those lines)
4: Set yuour nozzle info and then hit Confirm at the top.

For some reason it wont let me add photos for clarity.

With the latest BambuStudio and the latest X1C firmware (updated today). I got this error when printing a .3mf which is set to 0.2 nozzle and I have 0.4 nozzle:

"The current nozzle setting does not match the slicing file. Continuing to print may affect print quality. It is recommended to re-slice before starting the print.

[0500-803C 205930]"

I never had this issue, slicing went just fine.
Looks like a bug.

Yeah, I have the same issue after update printer not working

Confirming same issue with 01.11 firmware upgrade. Planning regression to 01.10 to fix it.

Fix the bug, Bambu!

I too had to roll back to 1.10 to fix this issue.

How do yu roll back the firmware I’m getting the nozzle warning as well?

I used my phone under firmware and scrolled to the bottom of the page.

Firmware 01.11.02.00 has been released but there is no mention of the nozzle mismatch bug, but plate detection for cool plate has been fixed.

I have a ticket open regarding the nozzle mismatch bug and I’ve asked them to confirm if the nozzle mismatch bug is fixed or not.

I discovered this issue a few days ago and also logged it with Bambu Support.

There was no mention by support about this being a pre-existing issue and suggested the following:

We would like you to do the following.

1. Try to manually modify the nozzle parameters once on the printer (e.g. from 0.4 to 0.6, and then back to 0.4) to see if it returns to normal.

2. If Step 1 does not work, it is recommended that the user first try resetting the printer to its factory settings to see if it returns to normal.

3. If steps one and two do not work, please provide the printer’s logfile for assessment (we should be able to see if the nozzle parameters are changing).

I’m glad that I found this post without having to reset the printer as rolling back to 1.10 fixed the problem.

Doesn’t work, unfortunately.

I can confirm with version 01.11.02.00 that the bug is still present. Selecting the nozzle type again does not fix the issue.

Same here with 01.11.02.00. Changing, saving, changing it back and saving does not workaround it.

Same issue here. The only way to get around this is using bambu handy app or bambu slicer to send the print job to the printer through cloud.

Just upgraded to 1.11.02 today aswell and I am also getting the error. Ignoring the error seems to print fine but if it keeps happening I’ll probably roll back.

FWIW, in my case, I was getting the error pop-up with newly sliced files. Drilling down to the nozzle settings via my X1C’s touchscreen revealed that it was undefined/unknown (sigh, should have taken a pic). After setting it to the correct nozzle type (0.4, hardened, standard flow), the X1C finally just prints when I hit “Print”. :confetti_ball:

Can someone open a firmware bug with bambu? They closed my ticket because I’m out of town and unable to respond quickly enough.

This is still a problem. I got the error last week on both of my X1s and submitted a support ticket. They advised me to roll the firmware back to the previous version and then “resolved” my ticket.
