I recently upgraded to 01.11.02.00 + AMS1 00.00.06.75 from a much older version. After doing this I ran a full print calibration (twice). ie. The 4 stages, Micro LIDAR Calibration thru Auto Bed leveling.
I made a small cube 10x10x5mm. When I start the print I see
2:49 Cleaning nozzle tip, 3:20 Bed touches nozzle, 4:08 Bed touches nozzle at the center of the bed, 4:51 Homing tool, 5:04 The printers steppers make a rising buzzing sound, a pause, then again (this time a softer buzzing sound) 5:35 prints a long trace at the front of the bed, 6:00 Starts printing cube.
The estimated print time 9:26 actual print time 9:30
My question is about 5:04 the buzzing sound. It sounds a bit like when the printer is calibrating on step2, Motor noise cancellation. On the older firmware this never happened. I assume that its normal. Can someone tell me why it does this, what is the purpose? Its slightly annoying.
