After 6500 hours my X1C is making sad noises from the front left pulley. It’s one of the fixed ones.
I know I can just buy an entire motion system but am debating about seeing if it’s possible to cleanly replace the irreplaceable pulleys. If I’m pulling the machine this far apart, I might as well do all of them in one go. If it fails, time to order the full motion system I guess.
I can put aside more than 8 hours and have enough skill to build other printers from scratch.
Has anyone done this? Is there a guide somewhere buried in the wiki that I’ve missed?
