I’ve had my X2D just over a month and in that time it has worked about half the time.
I’ve submitted 3x support tickets, taken many measurements requested by BBL support, been sent a new heatbed, new AC board and new MC board. I’ve tried combinations of new and old parts, factory resetting x 3 and full calibrations x 3+ times. And the issues keep popping back up. I’ve checked all connections, thermistor values, cable routes…
Not only has it had these faults but it doesn’t even successfully print even 50% of the time, from the box. The P2S I had before this was super reliable. Heck my previous Ender 3 clone was more reliable!
Anyway, being outside the 30 day window…What can I do?
At this point it feels less like a bad part and more like a defective unit entirely. you have already replaced the heatbed, AC board, and MC board, and the faults keep returning across different systems. Plus the printer still fails prints constantly even when no fault is active.
I’d be pushing for escalation or replacement rather than continuing random part swaps.
Sounds more like a signal problem. Maybe not a sensor but a cable/connection problem.
Support should be able to identify the problem from log files. Or replace the unit after 3 repair attempts.
You guys should have done that long before the OP had to resort to posting on the forum his unnecessary bad experiences with Bambu support and with his brand new printer.
After 3 strikes out, you should simply replace his defective unit with a new one, or offer full refund.
If you are in the United States your state’s Attorney General would be the place to start.
I believe since you have had these issues and have already issued support tickets before the 30 days you have additional leverage. Make sure you have all of your documentation together and a clear goal (i.e., return and refund of equipment or replacement, etc.).
