I was printing earlier and a few pieces became unstuck and were spread about resulting in a small clump round the nozzle, no problem easily removed.
However, I then proceeded to send another print to the A1m resulting in a horrible grinding noise from the y axis, so now suspecting some itinerant pieces from the previous print have fallen into the Y axis slot. Does anyone know of an easy way to remove the suspected filament?
I had that happen…I have a post on here somewhere…give me a few min to find it.

If yours is truly inside, all you have to do is remove the bottom plate of the printer.

How did it go, did you get it fixed…??
Got round to it yesterday, took a little while to remove all the screws and broke a couple of the fixings, but glued them back ok. Have the A1m a good shake and a few little poops fell out. Replaced base plate, all good and then proceeded with complete calibration. Went like a dream, did a few test benches, and still marvel at the workhorse it is.
So, all in all, very pleased with result, and again, thank you for you fab help
