Hey, anyone experienced this? The Y-axis is a bit off resulting in the calibration extrusion being printed outside of the plate.
Tried resetting and recalibrating the printer but didn’t have any effect.
Anyone have any ideas?

Seems likel a homing issue. It could be a bent nozzle (towards the front) or something hitting the head on the back of the printer (any mod there that could interfere?)

Yeah, the nozzle is straight.
I did have an event where the tip dragged the plate, that nozzle was scrap but I think that might be related to this.
Gonna check for obstacles towards the back. My impression though was that the homing is done in the front left corner? And that it uses the plate as a reference? There are no limiting switches in these machines right?

You’re right but if you have something on the back, the motor will skip steps and mess up with the Y position on subsequent moves but you should hear it if that’s the case.

Ah yeah, turned the thing off and pushed it as far back as it will go. Still not far enough back and no alien objects holding it up.
Yeah, this might be it! When it dragged the tip it did it hard enough to gouge the build plate so wouldn’t be surprised if it’s shifted. Will check. Thanks!
Upon further examination, when the Y-axis is in the furthest position it almost poops on the edge of the poopshoot closest to the door… So I gather something must be crooked with the print head…
Question is what though, I would imagine it wouldn’t print properly if it was completely bent and broken. The nozzle itself is confirmed straight.
Have you tried another print head just to see if it makes a difference?
Unfortunately don’t have access to one. You mean the whole assembly?
Was thinking I should pull it apart to have a look and see if something looks off.
