Hi Folks I am hoping you may be able to help me. I am having issues with a part skipping in y by about 2mm at 120mm (Approx). Out of 3 builds it has skipped twice. I have resliced between each print. I was in the room when one skip happen and the machine made a “crunch” It sounded like it had hit the end stop and jumped a tooth ot two. I have checked the y motor and belt and there is some fresh debris near the motor.
The part was large (but light) using almost all of the Y travel. So is this a code error, machine fault or just the build envelope isn’t actually as big as stated!
