I was looking through ebay this morning and trying to decide if it was worth while to sell some prints on ebay. I was surprised to see that someone was already selling one of my models without permission. Super annoying. They have 574 models listed for sale and I recognize many from MakerWorld. There is a user on MakerWorld with a very similar user name that has zero models. I reported the listing of my model to ebay. I also reported the makerworld user.
Here is the ebay seller if you want to check for any of your models:
Correct the link please. It does not redirect to the seller but to a captcha.
The one you posted shares a lot with one i have been posting for months and without any luck. These kind of guys get to get away with it all. Makerworld needs to intervene because this is starting to get out of hands, specially when there are exclusive models involved.
To be clear, this is the one i have been “chasing” for over a year, if someone wants to see if their models are there too (over 800 and going up). Don’t mind when it states “There are no products at the moment” because that guy takes the shop offline for a few days and then comes back with even more models.
That happens when someone reports the account for any reason. A few days later everything comes back online again. At least that is what’s been happening for over a year. Let’s hope that person gets blocked forever. He started with 2 accounts, under different names and to be honest, i think he may create another account because it’s that easy.
