"you are not allowed to create topics in this category"

i’ve been a member for a while now and made plenty of new topics. Now i get this message “you are not allowed to create topics in this category.” in the P1 category. What is this all about??

I can’t even create a new post about anything to do with my P1S

You’re still a “new user”. To post topics or pictures you need to move to the next level which is “basic user”.

Man… this is the first time in 2 years I’ve seen a restriction on my account. Same “You are not allowed…” restriction when looking to create a thread. Is it based on super recent activity? Either way… it might need some adjustment.

No one can post threads in the top level of each section of the forum.

You have to pick the subsection that you want to post in (ie Bambu Lab X1C).

I think the idea behind it is that it forces people to categorize their new thread instead of everything ending up in the top level category.

Disregard… Its only one button that is restricted. There’s other topic create buttons that work.
