My model here has been limited due to “tutorial style content “ I have been back and forth with support tickets trying to fix this issue and they keep telling me the same thing no matter what I do. I wouldn’t care if they held others to the same standard. They are singling me out however because the following makerworld posts are left up a visible despite being the same as mine. Has anyone had a similar issue and how have you been able to fix it?
Can you please describe what exactly you mean by “limited”? So far, the 3D model is listed and accessible. When I look at the category, it says Miniatures > Creatures.
Please describe where this has been limited, where it has been categorized as a tutorial, or where there are restrictions. Nothing is apparent from the outside.
However, I did notice something else: these numbers are anything but normal and have probably triggered the bot detection system. It’s unusual to have over 500 likes and almost 600 downloads, as well as so many boosts, and then only 35 prints. I’m almost certain that you have triggered the automatic fraud prevention system.
It was probably classified as a tutorial because, if it were only about the numbers, it would normally be considered automated outright fraud. If it was really classified as a tutorial, then you were actually lucky.

It isn’t searchable like the other flexi cutters are, I have deleted everything they told me to delete and change. It used to be just two flexi cutters and I had instructions on how to turn them into negatives to make a solid figure into a flexi. I believe my post got picked up by social media and went semi viral which I think is why it has so many votes and boosts.
Originally a guy by name Nikko Industries was making tutorials on turning A.I. generated models into flexis by sending people to his site to charge them $20 for a flexi. I made one in blender and uploaded it for free to makeworld and it took off after a few days. Then other people started uploading flexi cutters which are still searchable.
After 2-10-2026 they removed it from search results and then the game of “change this and that” started and now they’ve basically told me no its isn’t going to be changed to searchable. My original upload wasn’t any different than the ones I listed above. But mine is singled out to no longer be searchable.
This has happened to quite a few people. MakerWorld detects sudden increases in external traffic, as well as sudden likes and follows that are not reflected in the print numbers. Neither you nor the support team can do anything about this; the system reports that fraud is suspected and an employee must investigate. This has happened to many users who have gone viral on Reddit, for example.

Of course, MakerWorld is right: despite all the discussion, it is a tutorial. However, as I said, I can’t see any restrictions from the outside. I would just wait and see for now, as long as you don’t have any restrictions yet.
Otherwise, you could also make it a little more clever and not make it so obviously a tutorial, but mainly as an object to print out with an attached guide.

What an interesting concept, taking down tutorial-style content. Seems to me that there are of lot of models on MakerWorld that seem to have been created following on-line step by step tutorials for various modeling programs. If one reads between the lines it seems that Bambu Lab has been gently encouraging content creators to create more sophisticated designs.

Thats weird since I cannot find it when I search from here, I have even tried using private mode in different browser in case they avoid showing the owner’s models in a search. At least it works on your end, however the traffic to the post has dropped by 50% to 75% since they messaged me about it’s visibility being limited.
I am curious to know what you think of the ones like mine, do they all seem like tutorials in your opinion?
Your mention that my post might have triggered an automated filter is the only thing that makes sense to me because I doubt they are like “see that guy over there, screw him in particular” lol
As long as people can get a flexi cutter without paying Nikko Industries $20 a pop for literally 5 minutes of work in blender so be it.
If I’ve learned one thing during all this time, it’s that there’s absolutely no point in wasting even a single thought on looking at other profiles or 3D models to compare yourself with them.
Now it’s happened to you; next time it’ll be someone else. But I can tell you one thing: asking “Why doesn’t it happen to others?” will only make you unhappy. It may eventually happen to them, or it may not, but either way, that shouldn’t matter to you.
That’s not how it should be; many people are unhappy with it, but at the moment the rules are more like a coin toss than something you can rely on. Believe me, the sooner you stop thinking about it, the better it will be for your sanity.
Do your thing and don’t look left or right.

Delete the model and re-upload it without the instructions. Make a community post or forum post, write your instructions there and link from your model to Bambu internal site.
I searched ‘flexi cutter’ on MW and this is the first designer that popped up.
My opinion is that you’re a victim of your own success.
Your model is cutting into the profits of a ‘client’ who is paying for placement ie protection.
This is like telling a police officer that they can’t stop you for speeding because there are others who are speeding too, ie. they cannot stop you unless they also catch all other speeders at the same time.
For whatever reason, yours is reported or caught their attention because of the abnormal numbers. It is what it is.
Furthermore, the restriction that you believed have been placed on your model, ie. not searchable, may not be true, as others have been able to find it through search. The drop in traffic can be the normal drop. All uploads have higher traffic initially and then drop. If your model got boosted traffic from other social media, the drop will even be more noticeable.
I would say learn from this and move on. Don’t upload tutorial styple contents.
