My P1S printer started making these unpleasant sounds overnight when moving along the Z-axis. I lubricated the guide rods and screws, but there was no change. It seems to me that it might have something to do with the Z-axis belt. The belt has worn edges in several places, and the reinforcement is visible. I tried removing the belt tensioner and the belt, cleaning it, and putting it back, which helped a bit, but the sound is still there, just not as intense. The printer has 280 hours of printing time.
Everything you describe is a clear indication the belt itself needs to be replaced.
