Hey everyone!
I have encountered a strange issue with my X1C, and I do not know how to fix it. Every time my heat bed raises and lowers, there is an awful squeaking sound. I think it might be the belts underneath the printer because they seem to be awfully loose. Any ideas about this? Also, for context, I have oiled and greased the Z-Axis rods and poles… they have been well taken care of.
Have you tried tensioning the belt?
How would I go about doing that? The system appears to be more complex that the X and Y tensioners… Do you have an X1C?
No I have a P1S, which I think is the same, Go to the end of the z axis belt replacement guide , it discusses how to adjust tension. about the same as XY.

I have not messed with mine yet, haven’t seen any recommendations either, so I would just do it if it seemed loose. Mine is still quite at 2000 hrs

It is running right now I will turn it over tomorrow and see.
I too had the squeaking after ~ 1000h. I also found the hint to tension the belt. For me it didn’t remove the squeaking. The next step was very little oil at the flanks of the belt. I think that too came from somewhere in the Bambu Wiki. But if it is loose, try the tensioning first like @Rusty35 suggested. After tensioning, it took some time until the squeaking reappeared for me.
In these, it talks about Greasing idler pulleys. I don’t know if this is pertinent to this, but it says to grease them lightly if there is squeaking.

Difficult unfortunately. My printer is not accessible very well, so I have to move a lot of stuff to put it on its side. But the link by @Mason49 shows it nicely in chapter “idler pulley” around the middle of the page
Just put a drop of oil on the inside rims of the idler and move the belt a bit to spread the oil. That should do the trick.
So I tore my AMS down and moved every thing away from my printer and unhooked it all and turned it over, the I realized I have no way of measuring how tight my belt is. It seems about the same as the XY belts.
There is instructions in the wiki for cleaning the idler pulleys, it involves Q tips and WD 40.
You can just do the tensioning procedure. The springs will make sure that the belt has the right tension afterwards. But I guess if it feels similar to the XY belts, it can’t be way off.
That is great information if the pulleys are dirty. If they are clean, no need to take anything apart. Just follow the instructions in Bambu Lab P1 series printer Maintenance Recommendation | Bambu Lab Wiki, posted by @Mason49 above.

Das kommt davon wenn der Riemen an den Führungen der unteren idler pulley reibt.
Wenn ja, hilft entweder jedes halbe Jahr ein neuer Riemen, oder wie in meinem Fall (aber nicht empfohlen) ein Topfen Öl oder Fett auf die inneren Kanten der Idler pulleys, also genau da wo auch der Riemen läuft.
War bei mir 2x der Fall. Mit einem hauch von Fett auf den Kanten ist bei mir seit bestimmt 2 Jahren ruhe.
