so my A1 mini hits the cap on my z axis, the dark grey thing sometimes when homing and doing new prints. Sometimes it literally JAMS on it which is not good for the printer.
I first noticed this when I did a custom print to use that spot as a mount.
Is there a way in bambu slicer, or the machine G code I can set it to limit how far up it goes by like .5mm?? I’de love for this to not happen anymore!
Thanks!

It’s not a mechanical limit, but itll stop you from accidentally slicing something that uses that space
Where do you find that? In the G code for the machine or some setting in the slicer?
ooh i see it! Well, that probly won’t help the issue though cuz this is when the machine is doing its own thing not printing. I would not push something up to 180mm tall anyway i’de keep it just below.
Definitely try to stop it from crashing onto the Z axis cover. Mine broke yesterday and I found it 3 meters away from the printer…
ah man! I don’t know how to stop it though… how do I tell the printer to not go that far up during non printing? I considered taking the cover off but I don’t want dust in there.
The strangest part is it doesn’t do it every time. I seems random. I keep the screw loose just in case.
